What are a few things that you would like to learn about before leaving for/ entering college? How will learning these things better prepare you for your upcoming future as an educator?
A few things I would like to learn before I leave for college would be a little more about early childhood education just because that is the field of studies I want to go into. I would also like to learn about lesson plans and the correct way to set them up for effectivness. I believe this would help me one get a head start going into college and also help me not get behind in college. Lesson plans are an important thing and I want to know the correct way to make them.
Before I go into college I want to make sure math is the field with which I will be teaching. I love doing math but I really want the opportunity to teach a high school math lesson. I want to get an idea of what it's like. I've been working with my brother on ACT math problems and I really like it.
There is nothing specific I want to learn but I want to know before entering college that I am sure I want to become a teacher. I don’t want to have a doubt in my mind if teaching is right for me. But if had to pick what I would like to learn more about lesson plans. I also would like know more about the different types of teachers so I could what I would like to major in. I think knowing these things before I go to college I would be more prepared.
I would like to review the Ohio Standards and learn more about them. I want to also learn to be more detailed with the lesson plans. Learning these things will prepare me for the upcoming future because I will understand the standards and lesson plans better so I can have well planned lessons.
I would like to learn about field trip etiquitte. Like what a teacher's responsobilities are and whatnot during field trips. They seem like an important part of teaching that we have not covered.
I would like to learn everything that I can to help me become the best educator that I can be before entering college! That and i'd like to hear kinda how college is, pertaining to the Education classes! Like similarities or differnces that we will see!
Something that I would like to learn about would be Early Childhood. I want to learn about this because that is what I want to teach. Also I want to learn more about lesson plans and how to do them. When we did our lesson plans in class I wasnt quite sure how to do them the right way.
I would like to learn a little more about what classes I will need to take in college for my degree. Also, I agree with Gage about the field trip etiquitte. It would be fun to learn about that. In my rotation I am learning a lot about what I am going to face when I become a high school teacher.
I would like to learn as much as I can to better help my students in the future. I would like to learn different strategies that will appeal to all learners.
I would like to learn about what courses that I need to take when I enter college. Even though I am learning a lot from my rotation I am willing to learn all there is to know about teaching. I can not wait to become a special education teacher and take on all the challenges that get thrown at me.
I would like to learn about the courses that I need to take when I enter college. I definitely want to teach first grade. I love how happy they are to be at school.
I'm not really sure what else I would like to learn about before I go to college. I know that I am not as prepared as I could and should be, but I don't really know what else I could do to help. I know that I am going into Speech Pathology. I plan on incorporating music and singing to try to help students get over their speech impediments. I might possibly change course and decide to work in a hospital with stroke victims. It's a wide field to enter into, and I'm ready for the challenge. So, I would just like to learn about anything that will help me with my intended major.
I am a teacher at Buckeye Career Center! This is my 10th year of teaching; however, it's my third year as the Teaching Professions instructor. I am a graduate of Kent State University where I received my degree in Social Studies Education. I have also attained my Master's degree in Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction through Walden University. I have been married for ten years. My husband and I have two children, Chloe and Carson. We are also expecting our third child in January.
