Have you ever wondered why classroom behavior management is such a huge issue for some teachers and not others? Welcome! I am so excited to work with all of you this school year. Throughout the year, you will be learning whether or not a career in education is for you! We will be delving into various aspects of the profession, such as lesson plans, discipline management strategies, and also teaching styles and techniques. It is always a privilege to teach "future teachers." Creativity will be something that we will focus on this year, because I truly believe that when the fun stops, the learning does as well!

I am a teacher at Buckeye Career Center! This is my 10th year of teaching; however, it's my third year as the Teaching Professions instructor. I am a graduate of Kent State University where I received my degree in Social Studies Education. I have also attained my Master's degree in Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction through Walden University. I have been married for ten years. My husband and I have two children, Chloe and Carson. We are also expecting our third child in January.
