Getting-to-Know-You Activity

As we have discussed in class, it is essential for a teacher to create a classroom environment that is welcoming and safe. With this in mind, you were asked to come up with a getting-to-know-you activity for your middle school rotation. Please describe your plans and tell how you feel it will help both you and the students feel more comfortable.

Please explain the progress that has been made from the first week @ your rotation site until now. How has your involvement increased? How have the students' attitudes changed towards you? How has the relationship changed between you and your mentor teacher?
